Our Gorge Swing is suspended across the gorge at a point where the width is 316m and 120m deep. A harness is attached to the jumper and then the jumping ropes, the other end of which is pivoted to the middle of the cable. The jumper leaps off the edge of the gorge, free falling about 70m before going into a 95m long pendulum type swing. There is no age limit on these activities, however, at managements discretion children may be required to travel in a double harness with an adult. The Crocodile Dive Experience is situated at Elephant’s walk shopping village at the Predator Enclosure, behind Barclays bank, Victoria Falls Town. Divers must bring their usual swimming attire; change rooms and towels are provided. All other necessary diving equipment is provided. After a quick dive brief and signing of an indemnity form the cage is lowered into the water up to the shortest diver’s chest level. Basic skills are then covered where the divers are familiarised to breathing underwater using SCUBA apparatus. After the divers are comfortable, the cage is lowered where previously briefed hand signals are utilised. This is where, whoever dares; catches a glimpse of ‘their world!’ The dive leader then lures the crocodiles and fish whilst taking underwater footage and photos, available for sale after the dive.The minimum age limit is 6 years of age with parents consent. After a short brief and skill instruction even “non-swimmers” are competent enough to take on this activity.

The high water run operates as river rises following the early rains and subsides as the dry season commences. The journey begins 10km downstream of the Falls starting at the Overland Truck-eater (Rapid 11)  through to The End (Rapid 24) and includes the Mother (Rapid 13) at its brooding best.
